Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ2:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (916) 485-7100. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, zinfandelgrille.com.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 1,467 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Sacramento.
Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We will definitely come back, we tried one item from each category and everything was delicious, the pizza crust was amazing! I did not take a picture of the mushroom soup but it was exquisite, definitely worth a shot! Staff was also very polite ^^

This was our first visit to the Zinfandel Grille and it did not disappoint. We went midweek so did not make a reservation but we were able to be accommodated for dinner (we looked at a reservation but there was a lot of availability so we took the chance to just go). The staff was super kind and very attentive. Our server, Don, was awesome. Super kind, very friendly, and professional. He went out of his way to ensure our dinner was an enjoyable experience. We ordered cocktails: White Linen and Old Fashioned. Both really good. For dinner we split the Meat Lover Pizza and Zinfandel Burger. The pizza was larger than we expected and very filling, very good (we brought half of it home). The burger was delicious - really flavorful and the aioli was perfect. We also got dessert - tiramisu and flourless chocolate cake. The tiramisu was light and lovely and the chocolate cake is what you order when you need a chocolate fix. Super chocolatey and rich and exactly what I was hoping for. We will absolutely come here again. Don, our server was so lovely and had such a warm and welcoming personality, we would definitely ask to sit in his section.

Loved the inclusion of vegetarian options on the three course meal menu. The only note I have regarding the very delicious meal we enjoyed, is that roasting or pan frying the tomatoes served with the lovely ravioli would help them compliment the dish better. So that a paired bite would be same temp while eating.

Ivan was amazing. First and foremost, our waiter was there for every part of our meal, we were able to ask him questions before we ordered, he checked on our meal throughout and made sure we were well taken care of all night. Our food was beyond amazing, Chicken Parm was great, steak was amazing and the creme burlee was spot on. I 10/10 recommend!

Every dish we ordered was fantastic, flavor bombed meals! Our hats off to the chef! The staff and service were great, friendly and casual atmosphere, not pretentious. We had such a great experience here, maybe one of the best dinners I've had in a restaurant, and our lovely server, Erin was great (sorry, if I got the name your name wrong, should have wrote this review sooner). We will definitely visit again. We highly recommend!
